The farm covers an
area of approximately 20 acres and is located at about 40 minutes
(drive) distance from Kuching city. To reach the farm, drive along
the Batu Kawa/Bau road, a SIGNBOARD points to a right turn at
the junction opposite Tondong bazaar, then drive in for 3km where
the signboards will guide you to the farm.

Animals at the farm
comprise of deer Cervus Timorensis, an imported breed and the
Cervus Unicolor, locally known as Sambar deer and native to
Borneo.
RAYAN Deer Farm
is a farm with a difference, catering to those who love and
appreciate wild life and the environmental conservation, offering a
combination of Agriculture and Eco- Adventures.
For those who love to
jog, a 3km jogging track within the farm perimeter welcomes you. For
the fishing enthusiasts, we have three ponds stoked with variety of
fresh water fishes. The water in the ponds comes from an underground
stream.
For the Tiger Woods
wannabes, RAYAN Deer Farm has a mini green to test your
golfing skill.

Check-in on Friday
afternoon. Rest of the afternoon free to roam around the farm.
Evening dinner with cultural show presentation.
Saturday, after
breakfast visit the flea market at the rustic border town of Sirikin
where you can indulge in mind-boggling bargaining with both local
and Indonesian traders. On the return trip visit the wind cave, the
fairy cave and the Tasik Biru (Blue Lake). Lunch in Bau town.
Check out on Sunday
morning after breakfast.
>>>THE KAMPONG
EXPERIENCE<<<
The Singai village
originally has eight kupuo (kampongs), namely Kupuo Giang, Saga,
Sajong, Puot, Moti, Somu, Daun and Tubon. Singai now has expanded to
12 kupuo with a population of about 5000 people. The kupuo, although
equipped with 24-hr. electricity and water supply and most of the
trappings that come with modern technology, still retained much of
its original landscape. The rain forest and the mountain streams are
very much in their pristine state. Old cultures and traditions of
the past are still very much alive intermingling with the present. A
drive around the kupuo is not to be missed.
Duration: 3 days 2
nights.
Day 1 – check- in at
1400hrs. Spend the afternoon jogging along the farm track or fish in
one of the lakes or simply walk around the farm and enjoy the fresh
and clean air in a jungle environment. Feeding the deer in the farm
or just watch them roaming by. Evening – cultural show presentation
at the ‘tanju gawai”.
Day 2 – Climb Mount
Singai to the 100 year old Catholic Pilgrimage Memorial Centre and
visit “Ribuan Kada”, the waterfall of thousand bats. Lunch at CPMC.
Enjoy the evening drive in the kampong on the return trip to the
farm. After dinner, guests can relax in the quietness of the farm or
be your own entertainer at the F&B hall.
Day 3- Breakfast.
Check-out at 1200.
