>>>THE KAMPONG EXPERIENCE<<<

The Singai village originally has eight kupuo (kampongs), namely Kupuo Giang, Saga, Sajong, Puot, Moti, Somu, Daun and Tubon. Singai now has expanded to 12 kupuo with a population of about 5000 people. The kupuo, although equipped with 24-hr. electricity and water supply and most of the trappings that come with modern technology, still retained much of its original landscape. The rain forest and the mountain streams are very much in their pristine state. Old cultures and traditions of the past are still very much alive intermingling with the present. A drive around the kupuo is not to be missed.
